Good morning readers! Happy 12th month 0f 2011!

By looking at those tweets and facebook statuses, it seemed like everyone is excited for the last month of 2011. So, let you be the best month so that I'll be excited for 2012. Huh, 2012 already? :)

What I hope for 2012? Nothing much actually except for one or two new phases for me that I hope will be a good changes. No comments until all confirm. And yeah, next year the number is 24. But people still think I'm 20, at most. Haha.

#1 Okay, I watched Puss in Boots last weekend. I'll give 9.5/10 for its rating. Seriously, awesome! I waited for the movie since early this year. And to find that kind of movie is hard. And no! I don't watch Breaking Dawn. I downloaded it and for only 20 minutes, I watched it with half closed eyes. No offense, fans :)

Next must-watch movie is Jack & Jill. Adam Sandler is in it! Hehe

#2 Another thing, what would you do if you have an annoying roommate? The one who keep acting like a secretary, keep asking what you do? why you go out at this time and time? who do you go out with? Even my own friends do not ask me too many questions. Who are you to ask especially you just met me this semester. The kind of roommate who don't get the meaning of privacy. Nak cakap budak-budak, well she's 23 too. So, immature is more appropriate word to describe her.

My close friend suggested that I should just ignore her. Or tell her off straight to her face. The thing is I believe in respect. And I don't like to make an enemy especially on my last few weeks here.

My study so far is okay. But, it's now middle of semester so, I'm juggling with those assignments. With 80 case laws to analyze, it's kind of stressing me out. But, as I know myself, I can handle this. Insyaallah, everything will be fine =)

#3 Last thing, I try this new nasi lemak called Nasi Lemak Hijau. I don't know whether it is sell at another place.

I know it looks unattractive! haha. But the taste is okay. And with a good price too =)

Little Woman

I came across ugly truth early this week. Well, the thing made me feel really disappointed. Big time. The person you trust, lied straight to your face. Without her eyes blinking. Wow, when I was at that age, I lied too. But within 10 seconds, the lie would be detected. And how grateful I am, my father punished me at that time for lying.

Yes, I'm not going to portray how perfect I am when I was 13 in this post. Instead, I want YOU to know what a big mistake you made when you lied to the people that love you for the one guy that just confessed he love you about less than a week ago.

I told my besties about this situation as they are also the eldest. I think they're right. The time has changed. And so do kids these days. Oh, sorry, not kids, it's little women and gentlemen wanna-be's. But still, what I think the real deal here is about peer pressure.

Dear YOU, little kids who assume you're a woman at the age 0f 13,

Read this carefully, as I won't tell you direct to your face again.

Little woman #1: My boyfriend is sooooo caring! He thought me how to do fractions! (duhhh)

Little wonan #2: My boyfriend is so romantic. He bought me this gummy bears candies. Cute!

Little woman #3: My boyfriend is perfect. His hair is like Justin Bieber!!! (bluerghhh)

And as other little women hear these they all want to fit in. So, they started to find their so-called "soul mates".

"Why try to fit in, when you should be standing up"

Come on! At that age, it's not love. Seriously, it's just peer pressure so you could have the same topic to gossip and boast. Then, you would fit perfectly with the others.

And those friends of yours, just one glance at them, I know, they would never be the true friends. The true ones, would insist for you to focus on your study, not anything else.

Why want to commit now,
when the right one will come along in just next 7 years, perhaps?
Why want to grow up so fast,
when you still don't know what's the meaning of responsibility?

I've seen these kind of things during my time. You know, girls wasting their time chasing boys when they're so young. Then got broken heart. And their studies eventually..well.. they don't get to go anywhere.

The time will come eventually;
the time when your parents approved your guy,
the time when your date can come to your home and take you out,
the time when you don't have the needs to make up great stories about your guy,
the time when you know, this is the one.

Well, I know for certain. How? Been there, done that.

Lots of love,
Your big sister

Saturday, November 19, 2011

Hello people!
How's your Saturday? Mine is okay. I spent most of my day at home.
Well, that's fair since I spent my weekdays outside the home. Haha.

This week I watched 3 movies. Alternate days; Monday, Wednesday and Friday.
2 with him, one with my sister :D

So, the ranking, according to my taste;

1.Immortals (8/10)
2. Happy Feet 2 (7/10)
3. Adventures of Tintin (5/10)

The food is okay.
The ambiance is what caught my eyes.

Peach Lychee Soda, apparently is in my current Must-Drink-Again list.
Apart from the blue color soda serves at Boston Grill.

Ribbon ring, the cheapest yet one of my favorite accessories
Yes, I like accessories. Which girl does not?

Friday Words

#1 Life is too short to wake up in the morning with regrets. So, love the people who treat you right, forget about who doesn't and believe. If you get a chance, then take it. If it changes your life, let it be. Nobody said that it would be easy as long as it is worthy.

#2 Next time you're stressed, take a step back, take a deep breath and laugh. Remember who u are and why you're here. You're never given anything beyond your capabilities. Be strong, flexible, love yourself and others too. And keep moving forward.

#3 The best revenge? HAPPINESS. Nothing drive other people nuts than to see anyone else having a good life. So, be happy.

Why Bother?

image from: tumblr

Calling people fake won't make you real

You saw a pretty girl across the street, whom you never even know in your whole life. Just one glance by your stranger's eyes, you're calling her fake. Now, how do you know that? "Just look at the way she dress", "Oh gosh! that skirt is super short!!!" Well, then the girl smile at you, you HAVE to fake a smile at her. Now, who's the faker?

Calling people dumb won't make you smart

"You're so stupid!", "Come on dude, this is very simple! How can u be this dumb??!!" Well, screaming in front of other people's faces won't increase your intelligence level either.

Calling people mean won't make you nice

"You're such a bi**h!". Then u stomped out of the room and meet up with your "BFF(s)". Now, the process of story telling about that bi**h repeated through the meeting. Wow, gossip all over again. Be careful with your words, bad mouthing won't turn you into this nice princess after all.

Calling people ugly won't make you beautiful

Remember people have two sides; internal and external. You might be as beautiful as the pageant queen on the outside but with an ugly heart, you're not beautiful at all. At least, you will never be a natural beauty.

Why bother about other people when you're just full of prejudice and jealousy? Keep your mind on your business. That would be better rather than poking around to see someone fall down to the ground.

Be A Millionaire Without An Email

A jobless man applied for the position of “office boy” at Microsoft Company.

The manager interviewed him then watched him cleaning the floor as a test.
“You are employed.” He said.” Give me your e-mail address and I’ll send you the application to fill in, as well as date when you may start.”

The man replied “But I don’t have a computer, neither an email.”
I’m sorry”, said the manager, “If you don’t have an email, that means you do not exist. And who doesn’t exist, cannot have the job.”
The man left with no hope at all. He didn’t know what to do, with only one dollar in his pocket. He then decided to go to the market and buy some tomatoes. He then sold the tomatoes in a street to street round. In less than two hours, he succeeded to double his capital.

He repeated the Operation three times, and returned home with five dollars.
The man realized that he can survive by this Way, and started to go every day earlier, and return late Thus, his money doubled or tripled every day. Shortly, he bought a cart, then a truck, then he had his own fleet of delivery vehicles.
5 years later, the man is one of the biggest food retailers in town.
He started to plan his family’s future, and decided to have a life insurance.
He called an insurance broker, and chose a protection plan. When the conversation was concluded, the broker asked him his email. The man replied, “I don’t have an email”. The broker answered curiously, “You don’t have an email, and yet have succeeded to build an empire. Can you imagine what you could have been if you had an email?!!”

The man thought for a while and replied, “Yes, I’d be an office boy at Microsoft Company!”
Moral of the story:
M1 – Internet is not the solution to your life.
M2 – If you don’t have internet, and work hard, you can be a millionaire.
M3 – If you received this message by any means through the internet, you are closer to being an office boy, than a millionaire. Do not forward this stuff to me, I’m deactivating my email & going to sell tomatoes!

taken from:

My thoughts?

1) One closed door, open up millions others.
2) Sitting around may get u what you think you want, instead of what you actually deserve.
3) The moral 3 (M3) I think is a joke :D
4) When one push you, you're getting closer to your dreams!
5) You can be somebody, instead of being just regular people.
6) Dare to take risks
7) Be unique! :)

Call it hunch, guts, sixth sense or whatever similar names you have for it. I think everyone has it whether it is strong, mild or weak, it depends on you.

Sometimes, you have this strong feelings that something would goes wrong. Let it be this something is about friendship, relationship or even strangers. But somehow, you still continue with it and end up those feelings are true. It happens, always for me. That's how I learnt to trust my instinct. After all, they say women instincts never wrong.

One more thing, if a girl asks you a question which seemed ridiculous to you, it's either she's avoiding the truth or she's testing whether you're a liar or not. The latter would better. Bitter truth may shattered heart for a while, sweet lies would shattered trust forever.

There's a but. You cannot let instinct to rule your every single decision. Just say, it is used as a guidance when the conventional decision making process runs out of options. Sometimes, you pray and you just got the answer. That's what I'm talking about :)

Favorite Outing

Well, the school has started and in the next 13 weeks, I shall be busy. And, it's my final semester, before entering the new phase, the working life. Oh, before that the good job hunting phase, hopefully.

As I wish on my 1st day back in MMU, may the final one be the best of all :)

I've got a room there for me to crash for two or three nights. Or whenever I'll be having discussions with my friends. At least to enjoy my student life for the last time. Haha! And as I also have some free time, I love to spend some of it with my partner.

Ces fleurs vous menent au dreamland
in English means 'These flowers take you to dreamland'
Hopefully my translation is correct, my French is
a bit rusty by now ;p

Nice place.
Normal food.
Non-stop talking.

That's just us being us. You know that when you are with the right person, you would never be boring. And, yes, these are just one of the usual outings that we usual have =)

Oh, I found out something on twitter that goes like this:

#Libra women tend to look younger than their actual age.

So, how old do you think I am? HAHAHA

p/s: You always made my day :)

The Most Played Song

Listen to the sounds that make u happy,
and u'll be.

I'm officially 23. The older u get, the less exciting your birthday is. Nevertheless, it is good to be alive, healthy and happy. I don't want to ask for more. It's enough =) What I learned, don't expect too much. Don't be too kind until people take you for granted.

Expect the unexpected. I learned it the hard way today. No wishes from the people whom are important to me. So, whatever. I know, some people don't give a damn about birthday. Well, guess what, I am not just some people. So, once a year I want to be important. Too much to ask I guess.

Anyway, thank you friends and strangers. Well, no best friend's wish today. Again, whatever. Twitter's timeline and facebook's wall post, well thank you.

Special thanks to you my love, for the early and only celebration and presents. And of course the late night wish. I love you =)

And now I know, who's gonna stay on VVIP list and whose name I'm gonna.. well slash. Off to bed people :)

The Best Relationship

End of September. Beginning of the last quarter of 2011.

Favorite pictures of the week:

I made a simple celebration for his graduation, congrats! My own homemade red velvet cake, a gift and Windmill lunch date =) These are the kind of pictures I rarely share with anyone else but us. Well, maybe once or twice a year for exceptional cases.

The best relationship is when you can act like lovers and
best friends at the same time.

Don't Make These Mistakes When You're On Twitter

Good.. morning? Yup, it's Friday morning now. Hello readers ;)

As FB is getting boring by each day, most of us start to look for alternative social network. As for me, I always love twitter more. Hehe. But... For u tweeters, please don't make these mistakes while twitter-ing. The effects are just disastrous!

You MUST NOT tweet these:

#1 You're on a lunch date when u called in sick that morning.
When u're too excited to see your date and at the same time your fingers are itching to hit the 'check-in' function on FB / or eager to collect points on your 4sq (haha!), u actually forgot u're supposed to be 'sick' that day.

#2 Post sarcastic tweets about someone and that person is your follower.
Well, it even worse when those tweets mentioned some names. Again, think before you tweet :)

#3 You're looking for a new job while u're currently still be employed
And your employer or co-workers are your followers. At the end of the day, who knows, u might be getting an early letter of termination instead of you giving in the letter of resignation.

#4 You'll getting brand new stuff when u just borrowed a large amount of money from your friend(s)
The impression is that u're lazy to find your own money and you're a liar. When u ask money from your friend of course u would not tell them the money is to buy brand new stuff for yourself.

#5 You're single when actually you just having rough patches with your partner.
Which relationship don't have problems? And the worst break up style is by posting it on social network. Immature attitudes!

Notes to self:
Twitter is for the people I trust.
Twitter is for the people I find interesting.
Twitter is for people I find inspiring.
Twitter definitely not for relatives / strangers / stalkers etc

Have fun tweeting guys! :)

Speak Wisely, Boys and Girls

Hello guys! I'm currently on my 'school' break before I go back to MMU for my final semester on 17th October. Oh, well, I've got two subjects, so I'm gonna put best effort to maintain my pointer. Hopefully, Insyaallah :)

Ok, that's not what I want to blog today. Sorry, for a boring intro. Haha!

Remember the quote "What goes around comes around"? Yup, I want to say something about it. Where to begin? Ok, let's go back to the time when I was at the age of 11 to 17. At that age, I don't have good sense of style and with a plain face, plus I'm not the most talkative teenager. What I am is a little bit boyish, dark complexion, thick spectacles and very good grades. That's about it.

Well, I have these few cousins whom a few years older than I am. They are pretty, fair and smooth skins and fashionable. And what they said to me is too hurtful for me to even type here. Enough to say that, what they said to me made me want to prove that there is more than pretty faces in this world. So, I just keep quiet and do my own things every time there is a big family gathering.

"Beauty fades through out times. Your qualities possessed, don't"

As years passed by, I turn to who am I today. And they, well.. they just have static improvement. They, whenever see me, will avoid my gaze. Don't worry cousins, I forgive everything. But never, will I forget.

I just want to share this thing as I always come across those status updates where teens girls trashing about the other girls, mostly about their looks and appearances. You know girls, pretty face without brain is seriously nothing. Not every guy wants just a pretty face. Life is so much more than that.

Lastly, build other quality in yourself, it will be more worthy than spending every cents indulging in latest make ups and styles. And, be careful of what u say to others. You don't know if what u say will hurt others. Tuhan Maha Adil, He gives you fair compensation of what u did. So, speak wisely =)

From Strangers To Friends !

1/2 year internship.
All sorts of people I've met.
Yes, strangers at first.
But at the end, all are my friends =)

"We're from MMU Cyber" ;p

well, nice knowing both of u! good luck when
u're back at UTP.

Transfer Pricing interns!

Seoul Garden, Nadia's farewell

a few of my farewell gifts. TQVM guys!! ;))

Happy face when internship ends! Hehe

One word, I'm lucky to found strangers like them! Totally saved myself from the 'torture' of an internship. Haha! Well, considering I have no friends at all when I first step in PwC. But at the end, here they are. =)

Post internship
Well, right now I'm relaxing at home. Cherish every moment of my free time. Haha. I've got so many plans to occupy my free time. I'll post my plans for this holiday in another post.

See u guys later! ;)

When You Share Everything On Facebook

Ramai sangat dah orang pakai hp canggih sekarang kan? So, this is what u might get if you just too eager to show everything about your life. This video showed just exactly what's happening now. Check-in issue, well, my take for it, it's not wrong. But u made mistake if accepting people u don't know as your friends. Filter your friends list okay? :)

And, when u want to share something on facebook, make sure u filter who can see and who shouldn't. I always & only allow few trusted people to see something if I think that what I shared is too personal.

One more thing, who played foursquare (4sq)? The same thing, don't accept friend request from the unknown. Too many weird people these days. So remembered the rule:

Always say no to strangers

Be careful, both girls and guys.

How's Your Raya?

Simple yet fun.
Minimal yet precious.

After all, Raya is the celebration with your loved ones

Note: Oh, yes ! I've watched Conan the Barbarian. It is barbaric. But I enjoy the show. At least it's not a typical horror / thriller movie like Final Destination 5.

Excessive Make-Ups: The Girl U Saw Might Not Be Real

Hello ladies! Oh, and hey guys!

Who's here really good with make-ups? Most girls, yes. Guys? I've a few friends who can named the tools, techniques and brands. Yes, tak salah pun. It's still general knowledge. But, no I don't want my guy to know about make-ups too much. It's weird dude! ;p

Speaking for myself, I'm not an expert about make-ups. I casually but rarely wear any except those eye liner and liquid foundation. I suck most at applying eye shadow. I don't know why. Maybe simply because I don't know how. Hehe. So masa kawen nanti memang I takkan pakai make-up sendiri kena orang make-up kan. Haha! Not that I hate anything about make-ups. It's just I have sensitive, well VERY sensitive skin. So, I don't want to risk anything here.

One more thing, is about my style to be minimalist at everything. Well, especially when it comes to style and my appearances. Not that, I hate style la pulak kan. I love shopping, definitely! But just for the basics. And make ups are not my priority ;p Shoes and handbag probably. Haha!

"Make-up isn't beauty"

Well, carefully guys. Hihi. That cutie might not be a real girl ;p

The best make-up is your smile.
Wear it often.

It Is The Last Week!

Mood: Happy!

Well, 6 months of internship is about to end and of course I am happy. Who doesn't? Lama kot 6 bulan tuh ;p And that includes those days which I feel like lazying around the house. Haha! Tapi takde lah selalu sangat memonteng. hehe

And it's 22nd Ramadhan, and only left a few days before Raya. I have not done my shopping yet. Since I want to wait for all my other siblings to be at home. So that means only by this weekend I'm able to go for shopping. Well, last minute la best (konon) baru ada mood raya ;p

This week need to at least complete my intern's report which more like a thesis for about 80% complete. Oh, baru ingat after years of combination Raya and Study Week, this year I'm free for Raya. No more studying in between open houses since no exams are waiting for me a few days after Raya! *double happiness*

I regularly check in Sri Kota Specialist since the last 2 weeks, and my friends keep asking why. So don't worry, it's not me. It's my uncle who's suffering from Chronic Obstructive Pulmonary Disease (COPD). Yes, he's still in the ICU. So friends, sorry I can't make it to your Iftar invitations. There would be some other times for us to meet up okay? :)

"There would be a point in your life
when u realize who's important, who never was and
who's worth it all".

Oh by the way, here is something for u guys. Look carefully what's in the picture.

"Kita sudah memindah" is what the banner said.

Kenapa perlu sibuk nak belajar bahasa lain
sedangkan bahasa sendiri tunggang terbalik?

p/s: Yes, I write in English but I make sure my grammar is correct. Or have the least grammatical error :)

I Want This.. I Want That. Just Be Grateful, Please

When u have lots of money, u'll tend to spend every single cent and at the end u realize a few things. It's always, "why do I bought this?", "I shouldn't have bought it" and other similar post-shopping-regrets-sentences. Suddenly, all the old debts or an emergency came up. And that time, u'll go.. I should have save a little and grateful of what I have before.

When u choose your friends over your own flesh and blood. Yes, during the happy hours you have hundreds of friends. Even the unknown admit they know you, even just by pronouncing your name right. During the downturn, take a look and see, how many will stand by you. The most would be 1 or 2 that u can called them real friends. If u're unlucky, there are none. At that time, you will crawl back to your family and be grateful u still have them.

When u have it all, the life that people call perfect. Don't go around and chasing for more. One slip and it all can be gone.

When u have the ones that truly love and care for u, u lie and cheat on them. At most u flirts with others. Flirting is cheating second cousin, you know? When the ones found out and left u, then the regrets come. It's useless by that time. But people never get enough. *sigh*

Trust is like an eraser, it keeps getting smaller for each mistake been made.

Therefore remember Me, I will remember you, and be thankful to Me, and do not be ungrateful to Me (Al Baqarah: 152)

Wordless Wednesday #1

Ramadhan This Year and Ramadhan Previous Years

Time fly really fast. It is 10th of Ramadhan already. And there's only 12 working days left for me in PwC. Fly faster, dear time =)

By the way, how's your fasting month? This year is my 1st year fasting outside the campus life after 5 years. Well, if u ask me there's a lot of differences when u puasa kat universiti and kat office. Masa kat campus, bazar terdekat kat sana is bazar Putrajaya. Well, Cyberjaya takde bazar, harap maklum ;p But this year, they decided to have bazar inside MMU pulak. Why oh why time aku study takde?? Hehe. Oh, yes, nak cakap time dah keje takde masa sangat nk pegi bazar. Kat sini, adela bazar tapi kecik la tak mcm kat Putrajaya. The choice of food is limited but nevertheless, be grateful right, dapat makan? =)

Masa kat campus buka dengan geng kan, so best. Not that I'm saying buka puasa dengan family tak best tapi well... ngan family kena behave. Hahaha! Previous years I buka puasa kadang2 kat rumah kawan, kat kedai mane2 or kalau beli kat bazar Putrajaya, buka dekat tepi tasik dekat Precint 2 (I think). Sorry tak ingat sangat precint2 Putrajaya..hehe. Then kalau time sahur of course if kawan ajak sahur pukul 3 or 4 pagi pun okay je kan. Hehe! But bila dah keje it's like, pukul 12 it's the time for u to sleep. Sahur pukul 5 tu pun minum air je before sambung tido sebab 540 kena bangun siap gi keje. That's my current routine. Pretty tiring since I'll reach home almost at 7 every day. Fasting month or not. Sabar je la =)

One good thing is that, bila dah keje badan mcm letih so takde nk makan banyak2. Nak wat apa2 pun lepas buka tak malas ;) Then, time dah keje sangat banyak invitation buka puasa. Department punya lah, company punya lah, colleagues lagi kan. I've got 3 invitations so far, but I decided to go to one only.

Even that I'm on my training, but at this time next year, I'll be working (hopefully). So, this kind of thing will repeat. Well, no more fasting in campus kan. So, yang mana tengah study enjoy tak payah rase nak cepat2 keje. Nothing really best about it except for the salary every month that eventually will.. well, depleted. Hehe

p/s: 6 long months will eventually comes to an end!

Just A Little Courtesy Please, People

I came across all sort of people every day. But to find one single person that possess manners / carry around courtesy is hard. The things u think is simple actually can help u to be more courteous.

#1 Say "thank you"
And this implies to everyone that already helped u. By everyone means it is just not only for your friends. To strangers too. If u really shy (in any case, u should not be, just nod and smile). Ni tak, orang dah tolong, u just walked away as if u're that good!

#2 Hold the door / lift
U know when u open the door to go out and some1 is behind u need to go out too? Yeah, just hold that door a few seconds so they can pass too. The most scene I've seen is people just slam the door right in front other people faces.

#3 Give others chance to use facilities.
This always happen when I'm in the surau after performing my prayers. When I want to wear my shawl, there will always be the same people in front of the mirror applying their make ups and playing with their hair etc. I can wait for my turn, but when u see other people want to use that mirror too, u should quickly done what u want to do. Ni buat punya la slow Well, applying those make ups can be done in the rest room. Just saying.

#4 Smile back
When people smile back at you. Just smile back. Even those who seemed stranger to u. Don't make that face. What face? That one that says do-I-know-u face.

#5 Queue up.
Come on people. U been thought about this since primary school. Do not cut queue. Yesterday, when I'm queuing up to withdraw money form the ATM, there's this one guy came from nowhere and cut queue. And yes, I did say something to him that made him turn around. Yeah, serves you right dude!

#6 Apologize
Say sorry when u made mistake and mean it. Do not let it be a repetitive pattern of your mistake.

Life is simple when people be more courteous =) Are u well mannered then? I am and still learn to be better.

Ramadhan is just around the corner.
Welcome, I'm eager to see you :)

p/s: Images are from Tumblr.
p/s/s: Well, stating where u got the images also one way to be more courteous.

Happy Sunday People

Last weekend when I'm 'browsing' around Harbour Place Klang with my boyfriend, I spotted a new place where my family and I can eat. There is this Chinese Muslim Restaurant called Hj Sharin Low, if I'm not mistaken it is a branch restaurant.

The food varies. And it has seafood with chinese cooking style! Which I love of course ;))
And today, saje try makan kat sane. Makanan sedap, servis cepat plus tempat selesa with air conditioner. Well, to those smokers, there have tables outside too.

Ala, sorry guys, tak amek plak pic surroundings the restaurant mcm mane. Amek pic makanan je! Hehe.

1) Siakap stim Thai style
2) Ayam Halia
3) Sotong goreng tepung

4) Hotplate tauhu Jepun

So that is all about food!
What's next?

Once the empty stomach filled with those above, we went inside to the Excess Book Fair, which lasted today. I went there last week and got my self a few books. Well, today, beli lagi. It offers really low prices and rugi kalau tak beli. Plus, those book are not second hand books. Brand new but priced at lowest RM ;))

To those book lovers, u can find all the good books here.

.... classical mysteries,

.... chick flicks,

to the best-sellers.

And these are all for me!

Talk about being greedy! I know i know ;p
