When You Tried So hard

U try hard to fit in,
U try so hard to be them,
U even try harder to follow them,
Try hardest to be their friends,

U try hard to wear their style
U try so hard to speak their languange
U even try harder to spend time with them
Try hardest to get their acceptance

Your tiredness of trying is plain stupid
It's worthless.. It's nothing.

U should try hard to accept your weaknesses,
Try harder to improve yourself,
Try hard enough to not follow others,
Try your best to be yourself.

This trials is so much better, so much worth it ;)
After all, u need to keep trying. Life ain't easy rite? ;)

Saye taw saye tak perfect. Tapi ikot2 style org really is not my style, tukar diri saye semate2 nak diterima or to be fitted in a clique is so not me. Mungkin org ckp saye sombong, org x selesa dgn saye. Some would say I'm a loner. Well, guess what? Your thoughts people, really dont give a damn effect on myself. Saye selesa jadi diri sendiri. That makes me feel unique. TQ :)

What if.....

The continuation of the title is... u only have 24 hours to live? what are some of last things u wanna do?

Here is my list.. a few wishes of mine. Every hour I wanna do something rare yet I enjoy most. And each activity would be complimented by 1 food/drinks. Any food would do it but must be the food/drinks I like. Assuming dah taubat la kan :)

So here is the list of what I wanna do :

1st - Drive somewhere alone. No where to be specific. Just wanna have moment with myself. And for this one, I choose the iced mocha latte.

2nd - Talk to some random people. Tell them about my life. Except the dying part. End of this thing, I want chocolate & vanilla cupcakes

3rd - I want to climb a cliff if that's possible. Even it is not so high. I want to snap a pic of myself there. I want to eat smarties. Lame x makan bnd alah 2..hehe

4th - Listen to every fav song of mine since my childhood time until this moment. ONLY fav. At this moment, I would like some shepherd pie and ice lemon tea pls.

5th - I want to perform in front of audiences. I mean to play guitar or my piano. I want to feel like musician because that's my childhood dream ;) After that, I want to chill by eating my mum's homemade puding roti!!

6th - Relax and compile my pics with my loved ones. 2 scrapbooks; 1 for my family and 1 for him. All the happy and funny pics only. I want them to remember their happy moments with me. Finish that, I want chocolate cheese cake.

7th - I want to watch snippets of my fav movies. Dont have so much time right to watch one full movie. After that, I want lasagna chicken with extra cheese. Orange juice will complete it

8th - Go swimming. After that, I want to eat ketam cili made by my mum of course ;)

9th - Take a walk on the beach eating popcorn? teehee..

10th - Lying on the grass looking at the sky with him. Tell him I love him no matter what. I want to eat donuts with him. Big Apple chocolate donuts. taw hney ske kn ;)

11th - Still with him.. only now eating ice cream ;)

12th - Some time to be spend with the family. I just want ice lemon tea again ;D

It's just something I've thought last nite. It's just simply some random thoughts and nothing serious. I dont want to leave my loved ones with sad memories. Let them think only the happy thoughts when it comes to me. That way I am relief.

p/s : This is for forseen death. But normally we cant predict our own death time. Ignore some of the facebook quiz on your death time. That's just something... hahahaha! So this post is also a crap. Hehe

Week 13.. what's up with the no 13?

What I do today? I woke up and went to class at 8am. The class finished around 11 and I went straight to my room. Fall asleep until 3 pm..hahaha! Yeah.. I know I'm bored you readers with my routine. If u dont like my post dont read this ok. I just feel like blogging something but I dont have any particular topics. ;D

I ate marcaroni cheese grilled chicken for the break fast. I felt like eating western dish. Lately, I ate a lot. But, for myself even I eat a lot of food, by this means all the unhealthy ones, I still not going to gain a lot of weight. Lucky lucky me right.hehehe

So, right now, I'm craving for :

1) Cheese chocolate cake
2) Big apple donuts
4) Big mocha iced latte
5) My mum's cooking ^_^
6) Big Mac
7) Cupcakes.. yg cantik 2 ok..hehe

It's already week 13. Next week it's raya week and also study week for MMU-ians. Good luck people for ur finals!!

Yeah.. what about the no 13? For me, it's just a number. BUT for some people according to their customs and cultures it resembles a bad things. Some associates it with Friday the 13th. Not only for culture purpose, because some of corporate building would not have the 13th floor. After 12th floor the elevator would ascending up to 14th floor. The same goes to any hotels which situated in the country that believe in this. For them, no 13 is a curse. I dont know for sure.

For me, as I'm a muslim, believing in this such thing is wrong. But, just for my own knowledge I'll read it. Just for my leisure time.

Another update :

Tiap2 tahun nk raye mesti time 2 gak nk final exam. Dah bape tahun dah cmni since SPM..hehe. Dah la sem ni amek 6 subjek.. tensennye.. :(

Nk wat camne kan, xpela.. student's life, that's how it is :) Ayat nk sedapkn ati..hahaha!
Gotta go people.. lots of things to get done. X saba nk blk umah this Friday morning.

p/s : Need to start my studying ikot plan. Tapi besenye my plan would only stays on the paper. hehe

Something to Learn

Are you having fun watching this? This actually based on the short story Who Moved My Cheese that is used for my Advanced Management English class. I've read the book but it's still fun watching this. I think it help others who are lazy to read the book. lol!!

My cheese :

1) My family and him
2) My studies
3) My dream job
4) The cash
5) My friends
6) My gadjets
7) My car
* And the list goes on......

I think I would be like HAW. At first maybe I would not be comfortable with changes but I'll adapt to it.

Based on my experiences, I had quite a number of unpleasant changes. For example, I changed course from engineering to accounting. At first, I am not confident that I can do the new course as I had no basic it that area whatsoever before this. But, more quicker I adapt I can enjoy myself with accounting. That is my new cheese now ;)

One thing I learnt from this, we can be in a comfort zone for too long. It make us snobby, overconfident, relunctant to learn more, can't accept criticism etc. So, I always remind myself what I had these days may not be around in the future. As long as I have it, I should appreciate it more and use it to mprove myself. I am more mature and wise. That what makes me today ;)

Life is Simple.

Life is simple. Is it? For me, it is. The thing that makes it complicated is us actually. The people who keep on complaining.

What is the usual thing that make my/your life quite complicated??

- Not enough time
-Not enough sleep
-Not enough food??? hahaha
- Studying last minute
- Financial?? maybe
- Peer pressure

These are some of the things I do to simplify those 'complicated' thing :

1) About not enough time; this is especially for students like myself. Assignments sometimes really get out of our hand rite?? Normally, I have my own calendar which I stated there what day I want to finish my work. This is simple enough for me. I even feel happy as I slash all the list of jobs done ;) Then, I can have all the time to do whatever I want!! ^_^

2) Well, set the alarm one hour before bed time. It reminds me that I have to go to sleep in about an hour later. Then, I'll have my beauty sleep. The morning alarm?? that's for sure. hehe

3) Study last minute; to make it simple, I select two subjects to study each day. But this one depends on your attitude also. For me, study last minute is a risk that I should avoid. But there are some who are really smart. Well, I'm not that genius.. so I dont want to take that risk.

4) Peer pressure ; I usually dont give a damn thing about it. I dont have to follow anyone to be in accepted in a group. That's so high school. Please. Just be yourself. That's simple enough.

I ate mi goreng at Arif for sahur. My stomach is full that's why I cant sleep.

p/s: Now, time to go to bed. The alarm had made some sound. ;)

Early Morning

Sometimes you woke up feeling fresh. Or maybe sometimes u just dont have the feeling to sleep. Or even simply because you feel anxious for no particular reason. Well, that's how I felt when I woke up this morning. And I slept aroung 230 a.m last night. I woke up around 630 am. Normally after Subuh prayer I would go crawling back under my comforter. hehe.. It's not a good thing ok! ;)

Somehow that's not what happened today. I just feel excited about nothing. Maybe it's pre-exam symptom. I felt butterflies in my stomach too. Nervous?? About what? I dont think so. I think I already had too much sleep for this semester. haha! I should do this often. Give myself chance to study more for my finals.

But I love the morning. The sun is not too hot. I want a cup of coffee too.. yeah I'm a caffeine-addict but I'm fasting so scratch that. Well, that would make my day =))

Yesterday I break fast with my roomate and our friends at Black Canyon Alamanda. Well, the food is good. I ate seafood noodles. It is a lot and I didnt finished all of it. Now, I wonder why I'm feeling hungry.

I gotta people. I've got tutorial at 9am and still I'm blogging?? Somebody please just cut down the Internet connection. hahaha!! kidding ;p

I've bought these cute shoes. For me, it's cute. hehe

This pair I bought from M.O.D for rm35. I like it because the shoes lace is ribbon. Like ballet-shoes. hahaha! Well, he said it's cute.. ;)
Yup, I dont buy expensive shoes. For me, the trends change and in no time the trend would change again. So what's the point of buying expensive shoes. Except for the quality I guess. This I'm going to wear when I wear my jeans and shirt of course.

caption : I'm gonna wear this with the baju kurung. The orange thing is my laptop. Ignore it..hehe!
And it's cost rm45. See, told ya! I do not fancy expensive shoes. As long as it is nice then I'm on for it!

I'm not a shopaholic because:
  1. I'm still a student.
  2. I have money to spend on other important stuff.. like food maybe. As I'm a big fan of food, I always chose food over clothes. lol!
  3. I buy cute shirts with low prices. I dont give a damn thing about brands. As long as that shirt is nice for me to wear it and dont have stupid offensive words on it, I'll buy it.
  4. I'm not a fashion-cautious person. Dont get me wrong. I like fashion. I like to be updated with the current trends. But, I'm not the type of person who willing to pay all my pennies to be in-trend.
  5. I dont want to end up like that girl from Confessions of A Shopaholic movie ;)
  6. I love shopping but not an addict to it.
  7. I shop with a necessary consideration. In other words, bila perlu sahaja ;)
  8. An advantage for me, I hate make ups. The most I would buy is a lip balm and a lip gloss. haha!
  9. I've got my own budget. If I exceed the amount i'll be dead as i would be begging my parents for more money. And I hate doing that. Seriously!
  10. That's enough reason for me to not be a shopaholic. ;D

caption : Ignore the "shopaholics" word. It's for editing purpose only. haha!

You are Who You Are.

"Speak in English doesn't make you less Malay and more org puteh" - My lecturer

I totally agree with him. But somehow, people, I mean "our" people still don't get the idea. Some might think speaking in other language besides their mother tongue is somewhat a crime. Some are too scared about what other people would say. Why even bother about what others think especially the unnecessary criticisms.

For me, it's just an advantage if u can speak more than language. It'll be even more worth it if you can speak other language fluently. I'm not saying my english is perfect but somehow I think it is so much better than some of my friends. I'm not underestimating them but somehow I regret that they don't take the opportunnities to learn the language while the opportunities are still open up for them.

It is not because I'm from Klang which is of course an urban area, that helps me master my english skills. It is not because I'm from Methodist school which majority of people would assume we speak english through out the schooling time. What makes me quite good in the language is I read a lot of english novels since I was 9. No particular reasons. I just love it. My grandpa is the one who influence me into this thing. I love him :)

Back to our topic. I'm not saying you should forget the national language once u know how to speak in other language. There are some reasons that become the barriers in learning other languange especially english. You are scared of making mistakes when u speak. You scared that people would talk about your grammatical errors. You're not confidence enough in yourself. Your social environment is another issue.

But there is also another perspective that I might take a look on what my lecturer said. The last part of his sentence; and doesnt make you extra orang puteh.

This is crucial. There are also these group of people which knows a little bit about english, speak a few words of that language. They usually embarassed to speak in their mother tongue. Afraid people call them orang kampung if them dont speak english. What kind of attitude is that? If that's your purpose of speaking in english then you better dont. Or, you'll end up to be another mat salleh-wannabes, which at the moment is too many.

Frankly, I do speak english often enough. But still, there would be also times I speak in my mother tongue. I speak using that language every day. See, I haven't forgotten my own language even I do speak english. It is not the language that should be blame. It's the people. The attitude. The mentality. Think about it readers.

Find One. Do U Belong to Any?

12 of the most annoying types of Facebook users:

The Let-Me-Tell-You-Every-Detail-of-My-Day Bore. "I'm waking up." "I had Wheaties for breakfast." "I'm bored at work." "I'm stuck in traffic." You're kidding! How fascinating! No moment is too mundane for some people to broadcast unsolicited to the world. Just because you have 432 Facebook friends doesn't mean we all want to know when you're waiting for the bus.

The Self-Promoter. OK, so we've probably all posted at least once about some achievement. And sure, maybe your friends really do want to read the fascinating article you wrote about beet farming. But when almost EVERY update is a link to your blog, your poetry reading, your 10k results or your art show, you sound like a bragger or a self-centered careerist.

The Friend-Padder. The average Facebook user has 120 friends on the site. Schmoozers and social butterflies -- you know, the ones who make lifelong pals on the subway -- might reasonably have 300 or 400. But 1,000 "friends?" Unless you're George Clooney or just won the lottery, no one has that many. That's just showing off.

The Town Crier. "Michael Jackson is dead!!!" You heard it from me first! Me, and the 213,000 other people who all saw it on TMZ. These Matt Drudge wannabes are the reason many of us learn of breaking news not from TV or news sites but from online social networks. In their rush to trumpet the news, these people also spread rumors, half-truths and innuendo. No, Jeff Goldblum did not plunge to his death from a New Zealand cliff.

The TMIer. "Brad is heading to Walgreens to buy something for these pesky hemorrhoids." Boundaries of privacy and decorum don't seem to exist for these too-much-information updaters, who unabashedly offer up details about their sex lives, marital troubles and bodily functions. Thanks for sharing.

The Bad Grammarian. "So sad about Fara Fauset but Im so gladd its friday yippe". Yes, I know the punctuation rules are different in the digital world. And, no, no one likes a spelling-Nazi schoolmarm. But you sound like a moron.

The Sympathy-Baiter. "Barbara is feeling sad today." "Man, am I glad that's over." "Jim could really use some good news about now." Like anglers hunting for fish, these sad sacks cast out their hooks -- baited with vague tales of woe -- in the hopes of landing concerned responses. Genuine bad news is one thing, but these manipulative posts are just pleas for attention.

The Lurker. The Peeping Toms of Facebook, these voyeurs are too cautious, or maybe too lazy, to update their status or write on your wall. But once in a while, you'll be talking to them and they'll mention something you posted, so you know they're on your page, hiding in the shadows. It's just a little creepy.

The Crank. These curmudgeons, like the trolls who spew hate in blog comments, never met something they couldn't complain about. "Carl isn't really that impressed with idiots who don't realize how idiotic they are." [Actual status update.] Keep spreading the love.

The Paparazzo. Ever visit your Facebook page and discover that someone's posted a photo of you from last weekend's party -- a photo you didn't authorize and haven't even seen? You'd really rather not have to explain to your mom why you were leering like a drunken hyena and French-kissing a bottle of Jagermeister.

The Obscurist. "If not now then when?" "You'll see..." "Grist for the mill." "John is, small world." "Dave thought he was immune, but no. No, he is not." [Actual status updates, all.] Sorry, but you're not being mysterious -- just nonsensical.

The Chronic Inviter. "Support my cause. Sign my petition. Play Mafia Wars with me. Which 'Star Trek' character are you? Here are the 'Top 5 cars I have personally owned.' Here are '25 Things About Me.' Here's a drink. What drink are you? We're related! I took the 'What President Are You?' quiz and found out I'm Millard Fillmore! What president are you?"

Well, can u find which group do you belong to? I guess I'm about half of the first one. Well, this is my points:

That facebook page belong to me. I update my status as much as I want to anytime and whatever that's on my mind. For me, that's the way it should be. I guess other users would agree with me though. That is why they have that account the first place. To stay connected with friends abd family. But I do agree wiith the boring part updates. For me, I like to share my special updates, the non-routine ones. ;)

The friend-padder thing.. yup..that's another one. Why, u add people who u barely knew??? To show u are popular and have thousands friends? Is that it?? erm...

It just my opinion. I still enjoy using FB everyday. The boringness had not struck me. YET.

So, what about you out there? ;)

Here's the link to do the quiz to know what type of facebookers are u? Try it!! haha

My results: Chances are, you are popular resident of FB whose updates are interesting to read. Keep posting!

p/s: Am i?? hahaha!
